You must pay a non-refundable $25 fee to register for a camp. This deposit is due for EACH camp you register for. We have to enforce this policy due to so many last minute cancellations once summer begins! So please don’t take a spot unless you really are going to come!

Price of Camps:On the first day of camp you will pay a balance of $95 for your camp. This will cover your four-day camp. (Note: your deposit will NOT be deducted from this price… this is the price of the camp!)

Camp Descriptions

Little Kids/ Big Art - This is a great way to get your little one creating and having fun learning all about how to paint, collage, and imagine! This camp will include several canvas paintings, one pottery piece, and also some artwork on normal paper. We will be creating pieces of art that are “familiar” to little explorers and allowing them to use colors that make them happy… all while learning how to use art materials in the correct way! This is great for boys and girls!

Deck the Walls! - This camp allows children to control the direction of their creativity! We will be creating a 16 x 20 canvas painting, an 11 x 14 canvas painting, and a long 10 x 20 painting. All of our works will be guided step-by-step so there is no need for previous experience. Students will be able to personalize their work with their own special touches and choices of color! This class will also include a small pottery piece! This camp is great for both boys and girsl!

Recycled Art Camp - I am most excited about this camp! We are going to show students how to re-purpose materials to create fun pieces of artwork! Who knew trash could be so cool?! We will use 16x20 canvases and 10x20 canvases as a basis for our creations and count on collections of junk and trash to collage and create with! I will guide students through each work of art, and they are sure to have a cool-new-age piece to come home with! Students will also create a picture frame that displays recycled materials. There will be a “junky” supply list collection sheet handed out at registration! Each camper needs to collect as much as possible to make this week a success! Boys and Girls!

Paper Mache’ Camp – Definitely our messiest camp,.. but so very cool! I believe it is my personal responsibility as an artist to keep this awesome artistic technique alive!!! We use base structures like balloons and cardboard to create some really amazing/large 3-D pieces of art! Each child will work on this “one” piece all week! So it takes dedication and determination! If your child does not like to get messy… beware!! Check out our photo gallery to see some really cool previous creations! We do ask that each camper bring lots of newspapers, cardboard, and anything else that would make a good support for a creation! We provide the rest! Boys and Girls!

Fancy Nancy Camp - This is Ms. Lissa’s time to get “Girly”!! Love this camp! Girls will focus on a Fancy Nancy book each day, creating things like an All About Me Book, butterfly wings, tiara, sunglasses, works of art and more! NO BOYS ALLOWED!!! WHOOP! WHOOP!

Art Explosion Camp - This is our true pottery camp. Great for boys and girls! We don’t just paint pottery… we MAKE it! On day one students will be introduced to 3 different methods of “hand-building” with clay. Pieces are fired in our very own kiln and then glazed later in the week! Also we work with polymer (plastic) clays during this week to create some funny and colorful critters! And last but not least is our famous “junk sculpture” day! We collect junk from all of you and create one-of-a-kind metal sculptures that just steal your heart!! We do have a supply “junk” list for this camp that will be given to you at registration!
